Meet Marzia

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I am a Vancouver based Designer as well as a Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer. I’ve always loved storytelling so I am committed to sharing narratives of inspiration, love and life through creative means.

I started taking photos when I was 14 and got into the wedding industry shortly after my dad started a photography company. I still shoot with him to this day and he has taught me a lot of the foundational skills that I needed. My shooting approach is deep yet lighthearted, I know it’s a contradiction but it’s the unpredictability and spontaneity that I believe make my photos as authentic as possible. I am currently studying interdisciplinary work in design, business, and communication and I love building brands through visual means with clients.

Beyond the Camera

A few more facts to get to know me

I was born and raised in the Philippines but we moved to Canada when I was 9. I love constantly learning and acquiring new experiences so I am always up for adventures.

Things I love

My dog, Koko. The Summer. Sunflowers. Ice Cream. Beer (down for a brewery anytime!). Beach Vacations. Yoga. Travelling. Watching Movies with My Fam. Sunday Brunches and Dinner Dates. Vanilla Candles. The Tropics.

Something I live by

“Keep the honest moments close to your heart. The ones that are the most human. When you laugh until your ribs ache with your friends, when you feel stars exploding inside of you from falling in love, when life breaks you open and those tears of transformation pour like a river from your soul. Life is really quite simple. We get to experience this planet for a brief while. We get to learn how to love ourselves and one another for the strange, messy and magical creatures we are. What a gift it is to have a human life. If you look a little closer, there is always something to be grateful for. True gratitude isn’t ignoring the darkness. It’s participating with your whole heart in whatever moment life brings. It’s leaning into the unfolding process and having the courage to not need all of the answers”
